Difficulties in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in China.

In the article, the authors discuss their study on the factors causing the difficulties in the diagnosis and treatment of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in children in China. Among the factors are the shortage of child psychiatrists and pediatricians and the failure to fully implement early screening. Other topics include the symptoms of ASD like social anxiety disorder and intellectual disability.
