Abstract
- Though the history of such legislation is long, Rosino focuses his analysis upon the racially oppressive outcomes of Richard Nixon's declaration of the War on Drugs in 1968. In doing so, Rosino explains how drug law, policy, and research were central components of scientific racism, which sought to promote and uphold systems of racial oppression.
