Notas sobre algunos Pterostichus Bonelli, 1810 (Coleoptera, Caraboidea) de la cordillera Cantábrica, Galicia y Portugal.

A number of taxa of the genus Pterostichus with similar black dorsum and about 14-18 mm in size are found in the Cantabrian mountains and Portugal, what makes it difficult a rapid identification on the ground. An illustrated key is presented to facilitate an accurate identification of these taxa. Likewise, new collecting data and a more precise distribution area are given. It is proposed the name Pterotichus (Oreophilus) appendiculatus (Gautier, 1869) to denote beetles that were currently named as P. (Oreophilus) cantaber (Chaudoir, 1868).
