Abstract

In the current debates on knowledge and decolonization of memory, the question is about the place that ancestral knowledge and its relationship with society have in public policy. Articulating the work of digital narratives in community museums and local memory centers becomes a challenge for the survival of this means of communication for the apprehension of the material and intangible and natural cultural heritage of the nation. Netnography, as an online research method, makes it possible to investigate in these sites that unequal relationship between the center and the periphery. Centralist practices with a strong colonial tradition are identified that refuse to disappear and impede the implementation of local and regional initiatives in favor of the truth and the recovery of collective memory.
