Abstract

Describes a model of animal reproductive partitioning which demonstrates reproductive skew and indiscriminate infanticide. Finding that the possibility of infanticide may influence the pattern of reproduction within a group even if no offspring are actually killed at equilibrium; Association of reproductive restraints to elevated levels of offspring production.
