This study exploited both the magic of randomization and generalizability of real-world data by linking the patient-level data from the DAPT trial with real-world registry data. However, in subgroup analyses in reweighted data from patients with DAPT score >=2, the significant reduction in stent thrombosis in the group receiving prolonged DAPT was retained without significant impact on bleeding.
