In order to study the water trophication of Dongping Lake, six water environment and water ecology survey experiments had been carried out since July 2019. The phytoplankton species, density and physicochemical indicators had been obtained. The trophic status of Dongping Lake was analyzed by using the phytoplankton indicator method, phytoplankton abundance evaluation method and comprehensive trophic state index method. The results show that cyanophyta and chlorophyta are the dominant species during the study period. Different dominant species appear at different monoitoring sites in different periods, but cyanophyta species are the dominant species and all show eutrophication. In general, the water body of Dongping Lake presents light-level of eutrophication. The water body has a higher degree of eutrophication, especially in summer, reaching to the moderate-level.
