The deepening degree of the aging of population in Henan province has brought about some negative effects. There⁃ fore, it is necessary to take positive countermeasures from the perspectives of industries, employment, consumption, and social securities in response to the influence of population aging in Henan province. The government should formulate an industrial planning suitable for the development of aging society, ensure labor security supply and remove employment barriers, develop products and consumer market for the aged, build a harmonious consumption environment and improve social security systems so as to show the social care for the elderly.
