Piracy and the Nigerian Copyright Law: A Re-Appraisal.

The article discusses a research study conducted to unravel the reasons piracy thrives in the Nigerian environment in the face of a virile copyright law meant to protect the rights of copyright holders, punish infringers and defaulters of the law. It also analyzes factors responsible for the high level of piracy in Nigeria. Due to technological advancement, the Piracy business has become sophisticated and global in nature and scope.
