Membership of the editorial boards of journals published by the predatory publisher OMICS: willing and unwilling participation.

The article presents a study which examined the membership of the editorial boards of journals published by predatory publisher OMICS, particularly their willingness and unwillingness to be published. Other topics include OMICS' conviction for unethical publishing practices, the possible adverse effects of academic alliances with OMICS on academic careers and institutional reputations, and the works of University of Colorado librarian Jeffrey Beall against predatory publishing.
