- The article discusses the efforts made by Erin McManis and husband Chad Schatz of Phoenix, Arizona to help a stray beagle named Wolfgang lose weight. Topics explored include the commitment of the couple to helping obese dogs, the low-calorie meals and exercise regimen given to Wolfgang, and the eventual adoption of Wolfgang by the couple in July 2019.
