Objective: To examine the validity and reliability of the Chinese version of the Simulator Sickness Questionnaire（SSQ） in college students. Methods: Totally 188 college students were selected to experience virtual reality environments and assessed with the SSQ. One sample（n=94） was subjected to exploratory factor analysis, while the other sample（n=94） was subjected to confirmatory factor analysis. After 2 weeks, 50 of them were selected to participate in the retest. Results: Exploratory factor analysis showed that the SSQ consisted 3 factors, namely nausea, oculomotor and disorientation, accounting for 45. 3% of the total variance. The confirmatory factor analysis confirmed the 3-factor model fit well（χ2/df=1. 14, RMSEA=0. 039, IFI=0. 96, CFI=0. 96, GFI=0. 90）. The Cronbach α coefficient of the total questionnaire was 0. 75, and the Cronbach a coefficients of the 3 factors were 0. 60, 0. 63 and 0. 64, respectively. The test-retest reliabilities were 0. 76 for the total questionnaire and0. 51, 0. 70, 0. 78 for the 3 factors, respectively.
