Abstract
- The article reports on the high demand for coronavirus testing in the U.S. due to the surge in holiday travelers and shortage of supply of rapid at-home diagnostics amidst the spread of the more contagious Omicron variant. Also cited are the efforts by President Joe Biden to ensure sufficiency of testing kit supply, and how the U.S. lags as compared in Europe in terms of at-home test supply.
