This paper, through Sartre's autobiographical project, whose literary production explores several forms of "self-writing," supported by texts taken from three distinct historical moments, in which the author more explicitly makes use of this textual genre, namely: the autobiography The words, the journal War diaries: notebooks from a phoney war, and the interview Selfportrait at 70, highlights debates on singularity and alterity, the self and the other, the "bio" and the "graph," allowing us to revisit nuances of the concept of "autofiction" outlining the writer's multifaceted contemporary identity.
