Abstract

HL-2M, the satellite tokamak of ITER (International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor), has successfully completed the first plasma experiment in December 2020 in Southwestern Institute of Physics, China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC-SWIP). The 500 W/4.5 K helium cryogenic system used in HL-2M is mainly used to cool down the cryopumps and superconducting magnets. The refrigeration system is the heart components of the cryogenic system. The design and development of the refrigeration system witness our significant cooperation with Fullcryo Company. The refrigeration system has completed the factory commissioning and on-site installation at the end of 2019. This paper presents the performance characteristics of the main key equipment in the system. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
