Abstract: The article discusses the publication of the Land-Grab Universities report in 2020, giving information about the foundation of the United States' original Land Grant universities, which provided details about amounts of land taken from specific tribal nations and meticulously documented sums of monies raised in the sale of those territories. The bill designed to create public universities in each state gave away territories from Native nations, typically by brute force or lopsided treaties.
