An editorial is presented on convergent evidence for the antiviral effects of several Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved phenothiazine antipsychotics against SARS-CoV-2 and other coronaviruses. Topics include systematic screening and validation of alternative repurposed drugs for COVID-19; and screen evaluating thousands of FDA approved drugs for antiviral activity against two other highly pathogenic human coronaviruses.
