The article discusses a case study of a 76 years old patient who attended clinic complaining of a large, bulbous lesion that had appeared overnight without any other symptoms like discomfort, discharge or visual change. It is noted that the lesion was positioned around the lower fornix and is bulbous with a highly vascularised surface lined by non-keratinising, stratified squamous epithelium, consistent with conjunctiva.
