Abstract

The article discusses the launch of the Indo-Pacific security strategy by the United States to counter the accelerating Chinese naval construction challenging the rebalancing at sea. It is made to face diplomatic, military, and financial obstacles to build networked security architecture. India is seen as a critical element in the US strategy towards China as India is a member of the Quad and a neighbor of China, which seems to positively affect India–US relations.
