Abstract

In article number 2101123 by Yang-Kook Sun, Jaekook Kim, Jang-Yeon Hwang, and co-workers, a new class of sulfur cathodes, sulfurized polyacrylonitrile (SPAN) are summarized, in which active sulfur moieties are covalently bounded to carbon backbone. In particular, this review provides the multiscale understanding of the SPAN cathode in metal-sulfur batteries including the scientific and technological discussions. B Advanced Cathode for Metal-Sulfur Batteries b Metal-sulfur batteries have shown high potential because of their high-energy density and low-cost. [Extracted from the article]
