Abstract

The moment experienced by the Covid-19 pandemic beginning in 2019, but with a global impact in 2020, resulted in social instability and global economy. In this context, this work aims to reflect and analyze the moment experienced by the Covid-19 pandemic and how religion and faith are given in the midst of storms. The methodology used was bibliographical research. The selection of Scientific Articles, Books, Theses, Dissertations and Annals, used as reference, were selected according to the theme and their contribution to this study. The research is exploratory and descriptive, in which a qualitative methodological approach was used. It is an investigation that not only helps the research theme, but also enriches the correct elaboration of the work. Regarding the results, it is noteworthy that in times of pain and uncertainty, it is natural for each one to look for a path that brings you comfort and peace, this path is that of spirituality, a place where the real coexists and is connected to something greater and sacred. Therefore, it is concluded that religions play an important role in difficult times, such as the one experienced by the covid-19. Faith, prayer, it is the means, the path between hope and hope, the waiting imposed by the pandemic is in fact the hope that comes from prayer and faith. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
