Abstract
- The article focuses on the increasing attention to the proper language in describing race and gender identity in the U.S. in 2021 in light of the 2020 protests for social justice. It mentions the effort of people on the left to use words to advance changes in U.S. culture. Also noted is the discomfort of conservatives about the new vocabulary.
