Abstract
- The development of a new safety culture integrating the vision of ergonomics and human and organizational factors (HOF) is part of a long process requiring numerous actions in several areas of safety management. After a presentation of the concept of safety culture, this communication develops, based on the experience of SNCF, the work that has been carried out in terms of HOF training actions. These are the first step in a process of change that will span several years. They should allow the actors to understand the meaning of this new culture, to appropriate and share a different vision of safety. The design and realization of these trainings were the result of the collaboration of ergonomists and HOF experts with specialists in adult training and safety. The paper presents a discussion on the lessons learned from this experience. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
