Abstract

Regulators" are technicians in an air operation whose main activity is scheduling, i.e. the assignment of tasks to resources. The aim of this paper is to present this scheduling activity from the perspective of a multifaceted mediation between conflicting objects (health and production, multiple temporalities and top-down and bottom-up prescriptions). The results show the extent and diversity of health events that regulators combine with production imperatives and integrate into work organization, as well as the complexity of the mediations carried out and the inclusion of criteria in multiple temporalities (relating to agents, collectives and management). However, this primary health prevention is subject to conditions and is diminished in the context of dyschronicity between increasingly rapid flows of change, which then weakens the agents' careers.
