It is planned to present a research conducted in 2016 in the city of João Pessoa, capital of the state of Paraíba, Brazil. During these investigations, we have dealt with participants who are successful entrepreneurs in the field of insurance. Our overall goal was to understand how insurance entrepreneurs cohabit with the elements they face in their day-to-day work. They suffer great damage in terms of living in a permanently competitive environment, exposed to market instability and anxious to keep their businesses, succumbing to diseases such as arterial hypertension and diabetes.
