Abstract

Maskêkopakwa Labrador Tea Ledum groenlandicum I often hear this plant referred to as muskeg tea because it is found growing in areas where there is water and muskeg. Minahik Black Spruce Picea mariana Spruce is one of the most common plants used by the Indigenous peoples of Canada as a medicine. Nîpisîy White Willow Salix alba I love the willow plant. Wild strawberry fruits are tiny with tiny seed-like achenes embedded in the flesh, and the plants have bluish green leaflets. [Extracted from the article]
