O USO SOCIAL DOS AFETOS: UM OLHAR SOBRE O JORNALISMO SENSÍVEL NA ERA DA DESINFORMAÇÃO.

Disinformation is advancing at an alarming rate as journalism loses its old credibility. Considering the social importance of the practice, it is essential to analyze mistakes and successes in the search for renewal. This article starts from the hypothesis that exploring subjectivity is crucial for a reconnection between who produces, who consumes and who is journalistic information. Based on the concept of Sensitive Journalism (ROCHA, 2020), a reporting about transgender prisoners made by Fantástico, a television newsmagazine broadcast from Rede Globo, is investigated. The aim is to understand if, in this object whose narrative is led by the hybrid figure of the medical communicator, there are traces of affective and effective communication which allows a more plural reading of real stories while involving the viewer on the other side of the screen. For this, Discourse Analysis is used, based on the contributions of Michel Foucault (2008). A useful effect of the sensitivity is verified in this example, although a broader study is necessary to understand the impacts caused by Sensitive Journalism in its recipients. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
