Abstract
- This article, which I have divided into two parts, is about three liberal women writers and one male writer. In the first, I discuss the start of the women's revolution in Paris in 1900, through the texts of Nahui Olin, Colette, and Renée Vivien. In the second part, I review the boom of women's liberation in 1920 through the works of Colette and Victor Margueritte. Through the French texts of these authors, I demonstrate how female sexual liberation evolved in Paris during two decades: 1900 and 1920. I rely on two theoretical specialists on the liberation and image of women: Bram Dijkstra and Erika Bornay. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
