Abstract
- The article deals with the special features of informatization and automation of production processes at the present stage of industrial development, associated with the active implementation of Industry 4.0 concept in the economic activities of manufacturing companies. The advantages of the technology of end-to-end design, preparation of production and production of serial mechanical engineering products, as an element of the "Industry 4.0" concept, in comparison with the technology of classical sequential, top-down design, are analyzed. The composition and block diagram of the hierarchy of the information model of a serial machine-building product for end-to-end design, preparation of production and manufacturing, adapted for all stages of the life cycle of such a product, are considered. Based on the analysis and study of the results of real projects for the implementation of systems and technologies of end-to-end design at transport engineering enterprises in the Sverdlovsk region, conclusions are drawn about specific competitive advantages obtained by enterprises when implementing the principle of end-to-end design, including quantitative assessment.
