Abstract
- The article focuses on the emergence of screen-based virtual simulation (VS) in nursing education in Australia during the COVID-19 pandemic. Topics discussed include the non-technical skills covered by virtual simulation programs such as clinical judgment and critical thinking, use of VS in such subject matters as cultural empathy, medication and preeclampsia management, and positive impact of VS on knowledge, skills development and confidence of students, among others, based on studies.
