Tiempo de silencio: un psicoanálisis existencial de la sociedad española.

This paper proposes a textual comparison between the novel Tiempo de silencio (1961), by Luis Martín-Santos (1924–1964), and his most significant scientific work, Libertad, temporalidad y transferencia en el análisis existencial. The goal of the paper is to prove that the author's intention when writing the novel was to heal Spanish society by reading the text, as a result of the psychoanalytic content of the plot and the structure of the novel. With this comparison I would like to prove the productive dialogue created between scientific discourse and literary works. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
