Abstract

[ Objective] To analyze the effect of laying reflective film on fruit quality of early nectarine under rain-sheltered cultivation and low sunshine climate in southern China, and provide reference for the efficient cultivation of early-maturing nectarine. [Method] In the rain-shel tered cultivation mode, four-year-old Zhongyou 13 was used as the test material. The reflective film was laid 18 days before the early nectarine ripening ( the initial stage of fruit coloring), recorded the intensity of light, and the fruit samples were picke every 4 days until harvesting. The quality indicator of fruit weight, soluble solids, glucose, titratable acid, citric acid, quinic acid, malic acid and anthocyanin content in peel were measured and analyzed in different treatments. [ Result] The reflective film could extremely increase light intensity in the middle and lower part of the tree crown of nectarine( P < 0. 01). When the fruits were harvested, the average fruit weights of the reflective film treatment and the control ( CK) were 130. 93 and 129 .40 g, respectively, and the difference between the two was not significant ( P > 0. 05) . Com pared with the day of reflective film laying, the indexes of CK and reflective film treatment all changed. The contents of total soluble sugar, glucose, sucrose, fructose and sugar-acid ratio of peach fruit were increased by 0. 33 %,0. 09 g/100 g, 0. 01 g/100 g,0. 10 g/100 g and 1. 00 the 4th day after the reflective film was laid,and increased by 0. 08%,0. 74 g/kg,0. 02 g/kg and 1. 43 g/kg on the 8th day,and increased by 0. 08%,0. 71 g/kg,0. 19 g/kg and 0. 60 g/kg on the 12th day, respectively. On the 18th day ( harvest time), soluble solid content, solid-acid ratio, and sorbitol content of peach fruit were 0. 90%,5. 79,2. 60 g/100 g higher than the control, respectively. The anthocyanin content of peach peel treated with reflective film was as 2. 24 times as that of the control,and the difference was significant (P <0. 05). [ Conclusion] Under the condition of low sunshine, laying reflective film on the bottom of the canopy of Zhongyou 13 under rain-sheltered cultivation could enhance its photosynthesis, accelerate the fruit coloring, increase the contents of glucose, fructose, sorbitol, soluble solids and the sugar-acid ratio, reduce the content of titratable acid, citric acid and malic acid, increase the ratio of solid to acid and sugar to acid, and improve fruit quality.
