The purpose of this article is to analyze some episodes of martyrdom narrated in the Ecclesiastical History of Eusébio de Caesaréia (265-339), better known as the father of the History of the Church for his most famous work, Ecclesiastical History. We believe that, through this study, we will have the opportunity to understand how Christianity positioned itself as an educational model that sought to restore the Roman imperial order on the verge of collapse.
