Abstract
- The study aimed to evaluate calves fattening projects funded by the Egyptian Agricultural Bank with different production capacities in the sample of the field study, which is a Farms (upper - middle - small) and the average number of heads in each capacity was (20 - 14 - 6) head. and the internal rate of return for investment in this activity was about 33.2%, 29%, 25% for the three production capacities respectively and this rate is higher than The price of borrowing from the bank, and the benefit to cost ratio for these production capacities was about 1.20, 1.19 and 1.1.12 pounds for each production capacity, respectively, and the net present wealth of cash flows during the life of the project was about 478, 332, 27 thousand L.E. respectively, and the capital turnover reached about 3.01, 3.51 and 3.99 years per production capacity respectively. A sensitivity analysis was carried out based on the previous criteria for the three production capacities of calves fattening. And the derivation of the - critical - marginal levels of some of the important variables affecting the investment efficiency of these production capacities, the subject of the study, and one of the most important recommendations of the study was to increase subsidized financing with different production capacities through a pre-defined plan that includes front and back links to each project, in complete economic circles.
