Poverty is one of the problems that should be overcome in Turkey as well as a problem that concerns the whole world. In order to solve this problem, the reasons for poverty need to be well identified. In addition, due to the fact that poverty profiles vary from country to country, the solution strategies are also changing. Therefore, in this study conducted a detailed analysis of poverty before recommending any solution strategy for poverty in Turkey. In this analysis, considering the dimensions and speed of globalization, the macro economic, sociological and demographic reasons of poverty were investigated from a very deep perspective. Poverty in Turkey is examined by quantitative data in the tables,. In relation to the outcome of the emerging situation, strategies that can affect the fight against poverty in Turkey have been discussed. The study aims to give a multi-dimensional perspective to the problem by explaining the reasons of poverty in Turkey, its appearance and methods of combating poverty using both theoretical and empirical studies.
