Palladium-catalyzed nitrogen-selective addition reaction of indoles to glycals.

A highly regioselective and stereoselective palladium-catalyzed addition reaction of indoles to glycals has been accomplished. This palladium-catalyzed chemistry provides a facile route to a variety of N-glycosyl indoles in high to excellent yields with β-selectivity.
