Abstract

This study analyzes the Political-Pedagogical Project (PPP) of a rural school, showing encounters and disagreements between theoretical propositions and educational practices developed in the context of Youth and Adult Education (EJA). A qualitative study is developed, using Documentary Research and Simple Observation as data production techniques. The results show that having a PPP is an expressive step towards the materialization of problematizing educational practices in EJA, but this alone does not guarantee their development, making it necessary for educators, students and managers to know and continuously discuss the propositions of this document and develop practices in line with their guidelines. It is concluded that it is necessary to think about a flexible EJA model that values the knowledge of the subjects and their culture. Therefore, it is necessary to break with the logic of the disciplinary approach, fragmented and developed from the bias of traditional pedagogy, making it necessary to expand investments in theoretical and methodological training, which contributes to the creation of a specific EJA model, elaborated in dialogue with significant practices.
