Abstract
- Quasi-static tests in bending of thin-walled beams with different material design forms and weak link locations have been carried out, and their deformation mode and force responses are investigated by numerical simulations. The influence of some factors, including fiber direction, stacking sequence, and making holes in different positions, on the energy absorption of thin-walled CFRP beams is analyzed.
