Abstract
- This article aimed to analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of the creation of a Criminal Analysis and Innovation System in the Military Police of the State of Goiás - PMGO in order to improve and modernize the preventive police management, as well as propose the structuring of a Criminal Analysis and Innovation Center as the central management body for the entire system and verify the possibility of developing a Criminal Analysis and Innovation Doctrine for PMGO. The research was motivated by the need to standardize and solve the production of criminal analysis, as well as promoting continuous innovation within the scope of the PMGO, in order to improve decision-making at all levels of planning (strategic, tactical and operational), promoting the correct use of police resources and at the same time promoting the modernization of the management of ostensive-preventive policing. For that, bibliographic works, scientific articles, laws, field analyzes were used, together with the application of a questionnaire directed to the commanders of operational, administrative and specialized units after authorization of the Institution's Strategic Staff. Being evidenced the importance of creating a Criminal Analysis and Innovation System at PMGO, as well as the elaboration of a doctrine in order to establish a set of teachings, principles, and concepts to standardize all the activities to be developed.
