Abstract
- We developed a formulation to explore the structural properties of biaxial liquid crystal particles with D2h symmetry based on integral equation theory. Particles are assumed to interact with suitably adjusted to integrate biaxiality through Gay-Berne (GB) model potential. The pair-functions appearing in the integral equation theory has been expanded in terms of orthogonal basis set constructed by taking into consideration appropriate molecular and phase symmetries. Here we depict our preliminary results on Mayer function harmonics and direct correlation functions by using integral equation theory. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
