Prozodická charakteristika textu: moderátor televizních zpráv.

This article describes the text’s prosodic analysis in a journalistic style, namely the Chinese TV News text. The study is based on the methodology of O. Švarný, the linear structure of the text (speed of speech, quantity and size of syllables, segments and cola) is observed. Also, the rhythm of segments and cola is analyzed. Due to the distinctive stylistic characteristics of the analyzed sample, the analysis results can be used for comparison with texts in other styles, which can undoubtedly bring new information in the prosodic study of Modern Chinese.
