Analysis of single mammalian cells with capillary electrophoresis.

The article discusses the analysis of single mammalian with capillary electrophoresis (CE). CE is an excellent technique for the study of single cells. It is possible to analyze samples with volumes ranging from nanoliters to femtoliters. Advances in sample injection techniques have been highly important to the application of CE for the study of single mammalian cells. Although much of the recent work in CE of single cells has involved novel injection schemes, several studies have also examined new areas of neuroscience and oncology.
