Abstract

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, education abruptly adhered to Digital Information and Communication Technologies (DICT) as a way to return to classes. This paper aims to analyze how DICT during the pandemic. The methodology was a Systematic Literature Review to identify articles on the theme and were selected 36 articles related to the research objective. The results show a predominance of qualitative and empirical studies on DICT and address the impacts of the transition from classroom teaching to remote teaching, the challenges, and the possibilities regarding their use in education. On the origin, most studies are from China and Indonesia. About the public, studies with university students stand out. Thus, the use of DICT in education was a major challenge. Teachers and students did not use DICT more intensively for teaching and learning before the pandemic. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
