RESSIGNIFICAÇÃO E REFUNCIONALIZAÇÃO DA PAISAGEM DO PERÍODO DA GUERRA DO CONTESTADO EM PORTO UNIÃO DA VITÓRIA (SC/PR): NOTAS PARA O ENSINO DE GEOGRAFIA.

The present research work aims to discuss the teaching of School Geography from the reframing and refunctionalization of the landscapes of the cities of União da Vitória (PR) and Porto União (SC) during the period of the Contestado War (1912-1916). As a methodology, we made an analysis of the 1933 document "Historical Notes of União da Vitória". Based on the concept of geographic reasoning and memory, we discussed proposals for approach considering representation and space-time. The results pointed to a multiplicity of representations both in the same time and social space and in their successions. Therefore, to teach Geography, we conclude that there is a need to align representations with space-time. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
