Young Adults As Public Library Users.

The article reports that recently the Mecivescak Public Library (MPL) in Zagreb, Croatia, was faced with poor interest from young adults for library services in general. me Mecivescak Public Library is one of the public libraries in Zagreb whose numerous innovations in the last few decades have had a huge impact on the theory and practice of public librarianship in Croatia. It is the first public library in Croatia that has computerized its operations and developed special pro- grams for preschoolers; and it is also the first public library that has set up a special services department for teenagers.
