CINEMA E ARQUIVO NA AMÉRICA INDÍGENA: ANDREA TONACCI, ENCONTROS E REENCONTROS.

In this work, I approach the indigenous work of Andrea Tonacci (1944-2016) seeking to underline the different ways in which the filmmaker approached indigenous peoples over time and, in turn, the way in which indigenous peoples approached images through your job. I start from the exhibition Olhar: um ato de resistência [To look: an act of resistance] (2015), relating it to the films Acervo Andrea Tonacci - Encontros na América Indígena [Andrea Tonacci Collection - Encounters in Native America] (2015) and then address Serras da Desordem [Disorder saws] (2006), Os Arara [The Arara] (1980-), Conversas no Maranhão [Conversations in Maranhão] (1977-1983).
