Abstract
- The article proposes the Childcare Options, Accommodations, Responsible Resources, Inclusion of Parents in Decision-making, Network Creation, and Data-driven Guidelines (CARING) at Infectious Disease Week (IDWeek) framework to improve equitable access to major academic conferences. Topics discussed include gender inequity in infectious diseases , gender inequities affecting career development, and the caring framework for conference parental accommodations.
