- Reports that the Committee on Technician Affairs (CTA) has celebrated its 40th anniversary along with the 15th anniversary for the American Chemical Society (ACS) National Chemical Technician Award and the 10th anniversary of the Division of Chemical Technicians in Philadelpia, Pennsylvania. Plans for the ACS Chemical Technology Student award; Response to a request by ACS President-elect William F. Carroll for input into Enterprise 2015; Implementation of the CTA strategic plan.
