Amish's Ram Chandra Series: Redefining Transcendent Sita Myth.

The article explores the Indian mythologist and writer Amish's retelling of Sita myth from Ramayana, the primal epic from Hindu canon of scriptures. His interpretation of the text, "Sita: Warrior of Mithila from Ram Chandra Series" neither adopts a conservative view of sanctioning authority in religious readership nor an extreme liberal stand of challenging the very essence of transcendent myth. This middle path taken by the writer presents a new understanding of the Hindu goddess. Deconstruction of Ram-Sita binary is the basis of this new mythic interpretation.
