Abstract

COVID-19 did not result in SAA relapse but these results cannot be generalised to patients who may have more severe COVID-19 manifestations due to other underlying comorbidities.13 The timing of relapse post viral infection is not established therefore longer follow-up may lead to better knowledge. The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has caused concern among physicians caring for immunosuppressed patients. No patients required COVID-19 infection-directed therapies or had interruption of ongoing immunosuppression. In patients with concurrent SAA and COVID-19 infection, continuation or initiation of CsA and/or EPAG during SARS-CoV-2 infection does not appear to complicate infectious course.
